NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Course
Skill Level: Beginner
Course Length: Approx. 8 hours, 7 hours classroom, 1 hour range time.
Cost: $150, includes the NRA Guide: Basics of Pistol Shooting and the range fees.

The course is designed to teach the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude for owning and safely operating a pistol. The student will learn to shoot revolvers and semi-automatic pistols. You will learn the rules for safe gun handling, pistol parts and operation, ammunition, shooting fundamentals, range rules, proper gun control, and cleaning the pistol.

To pass and earn a certificate, you should be able to pass a written examination, and shoot 5 shot groups within a 4 inch circle at 3, 5, 7, yards. Upon completing the course, students will receive a Certificate of Completion.

NRA CCW Course
Skill Level: Advanced
Course Length: Approx. 8 hours, 7 hours classroom, 1 hour range time.
Cost: $150, includes the NRA Guide: Basics of Personal Protection Outside the Home, and range fees.

This course meets the 8 hour training requirement to obtain a Colorado Concealed Handgun Permit. Students will learn the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary to carry a concealed pistol for personal defense. The course includes topics include: firearm safety (Mandatory), pistol nomenclature and selecting a pistol for self defense, basic defensive pistol skills, drawing from concealment, loading and stoppage remediation, mindset, carry modes and pistol concealment, and firearm cleaning.

To pass and earn a Certificate, you must be able to pass a written examination, and shoot accurately at 3, 5, 7, and 15 yards. Upon completion of the course, students will receive 2 separate Certifications of Completion.



NRA Pistol Marksmanship Simulator Course (non live fire shooting Laser Based Training)

Skill Level: All skill levels, beginner to expert.
Course Length: Approx. 2 hours.
Cost: $45
* No live firearms or ammunition is used in this course.

This course includes gun safety and safe gun handling, basic knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary to learn pistol marksmanship, using a virtual laser training system. Learn to apply the fundamentals of pistol shooting with a laser shot indicating simulator pistol, and state of the art recording software.

This course is great for youths to learn gun safety, the experienced shooter to improve fundamental skills, or if you are trying to decide if shooting is right for you prior to purchasing a firearm.

Upon completing the course, students will receive a Certificate of Completion.



NRA Metallic Cartridge Reloading Course

Skill Level: Beginner to intermediate
Course Length: Approx. 8 hours.
Cost: $150, includes the NRA Guide to Reloading Handbook and all of the course materials required to perform the actual loading process. This is not a live fire course.

The course teaches beginning reloaders, or those who are interested in the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary to safely reload metallic cartridges.

Eash student will be taught reloading safety, centerfire cartridge components, using the reloading manual and data, equipment, and the basic reloading process. Students will reload both 9mm and .223 cartridges to take home.

Upon completing the course and passing the basic reloading examination, students will receive an NRA Certificate of Completion.



Custom Designed Course Shooting

Skill Level: Can be designed for all levels.
Course Length: As requested.
Cost: Based on request. Call for pricing.

Student shooting courses and/or stages are normally performed in an outside range environment. Weather is always a factor when shooting outside, so dates may have to be changed.

Custom shooting courses can be designed for the student needs or a requested style of shooting. This is great practice for students who are looking to learn or improve their shooting skills. Stages can be designed and set-up to learn USPSA type shooting, defensive type shooting, or to get private practice time. Stage type settings can greatly improve overall shooting skills.
